‘The Young and the Restless’ Star Billy Flynn Reveals Heartwarming Family News With Baby Number 3
Y&R actor Billy Flynn and wife Gina Comparetto welcomed a baby girl, their third child, joining two older brothers. Co-stars including Michelle Stafford shared congratulations.
The Young and the Restless’ Billy Flynn and his wife, Gina Comparetto, have welcomed a brand-new baby to their family, giving their two young sons a baby sister to dote on with the birth of their third child.
Billy Flynn Welcomes a Little Girl
Both Flynn and Comparetto took to Instagram to announce the news. Comparetto posted a photo of the couple with their two sons in bed and Flynn holding the new infant in a carrier. She captioned the snap: “She arrived in May and now our family is perfectly complete.”
Flynn posted the same photo to his Instagram stories, along with another pic of three pairs of little feet, writing, “Party of 5.”
Congratulations from Flynn’s co-stars immediately started pouring in on Comparetto’s post. The actor’s former Days of our Lives co-star Cherie Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez) wrote, “My heart is so happy for ya’ll,” while her on-screen brother, Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez), wrote, “Amazing. Congrats, fam. Can’t wait to meet her.”
Flynn’s current Y&R leading lady, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), wrote, “Perfection.” Jen Lilley, who also worked with Flynn on DAYS, wrote, “Ahhhh!!! Yes!!! Congrats!”
Flynn and Comparetto were married in 2016 after Flynn proposed on his 30th birthday the year before, per Michael Fairman TV. They are already the parents of two little boys, born in 2022 and 2023, whom they shield from the social media spotlight.
Flynn took the soap world by storm in 2014 when he took over the role of Chad DiMera on DAYS in 2014 and was quickly paired with Kate Mansi‘s Abigail. Flynn opted to leave DAYS behind last year and jumped ship to Y&R, where he began playing Cane Ashby, a role originated by Daniel Goddard, who was appearing on General Hospital as Henry Dalton at the time. Ironically, Chad is now played by Conner Floyd, who brought Chance Chancellor to life on Y&R.
