‘Days of our Lives’ fans are divided over Sarah choosing Brady over Xander. Explore the debate around the popular Xarah pairing and what viewers really want.
Since they first met in 2019, Days of our Lives‘ Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) have never been able to stay away from each other. Multiple marriages and divorces, as well as a child, have helped keep their bond alive, but Sarah is determined to never marry Xander again and move on with Brady (Eric Martsolf). It turns out fans are not sure if Sarah is making the right move.
Sarah’s ‘Days of our Lives’ Dilemma Takes Hold
Xander has always been the bad boy who’s given Sarah a thrill, while Brady is much steadier and won’t constantly break the law and make excuses for his poor choices.
Sarah finally gave in to her growing feelings for Brady, but that does not mean Xander is not on her mind. With him living in the family mansion again and supporting her through the mysterious loss of a patient, Sarah had quite a telling dream recently in which she couldn’t resist Xander, but then Brady showed up. Both men demanded that Sarah choose between them, but Sarah seemed as torn as fans.
Some fans like the calmer life that Brady can provide Sarah and are rooting for them. “They are two good people who deserve to be happy and in a healthy relationship. With him being a P.I and Sarah a doctor, they remind me a little bit of Steve and Kayla. Not every relationship has to be this big passionate affair,” one Reddit user pointed out.
Another fan likes the concept of Brady and Sarah, but just because they work on paper doesn’t mean they work on screen. “I wouldn’t mind them together if they had any chemistry on screen. It feels like they are using each other to get back at their exes,” they said.
Some audience members don’t want to see Brady heartbroken again, saying, “I like them together but I’m sure Sarah will get back with Xander at some point. Brady will be left alone again as usual. I wish he could find someone stable that only wants to be with him.”
With Sarah and Xander being an established pair for more than half a decade, their loyal fans just want to see a reunion, with one viewer proclaiming, “I think these writers came in thinking they could trash 7 years of Xarah and make Sarah and Brady a supercouple. But the fans have so soundly rejected that.”
