Vanessa Williams Dishes on a Possible ‘Desperate Housewives’ Reboot — and Reveals Which Wisteria Lane Ladies She’s Still Friends With!

OMG — Is a Desperate Housewives reboot in the works?!

Sadly, it doesn't seem a remake of the hit ABC comedy-drama is happening quite yet, but former star Vanessa Williams would totally reprise her role as Renee Perry if the show ever came back on-air!

"Sure, yea!" the 54-year-old actress told Closer Weekly on Thursday, June 1 of participating in a future Desperate Housewives reunion.

Though it's been five years since the beloved mystery series' finale, Vanessa revealed she's still very close to a few members of the Desperate Housewives cast today.

"I sang at Eva [Longoria]'s wedding last May. I saw Felicity [Huffman], what was it, two years ago already at the Emmys? And Teri Hatcher came to my wedding!" Vanessa — who married third husband Jim Skrip in 2015 — told Closer at the NYC premiere of her newest show, Daytime Divas.

"I haven't seen Marcia [Cross], she's the only one that I haven't seen," she added.

During a recent interview, Vanessa's close friend Eva, 42, similarly gushed it would "take nothing" for her to star in a Desperate Housewives reboot! "I would jump at the chance to play Gaby Solis again, I miss her! I miss her skin and I miss being in her skin," she said.

"The minute [creator] Marc Cherry says, 'We're going back,' I would be the first one to sign up. I love that show and I love the magic that we had," Eva added.
