From the White House to Dream House! See Photos of Jenna Bush Hager’s Ritzy Long Island Home

What a beautiful abode! Jenna Bush Hager spent many years of her childhood growing up in the White House, but photos of her immaculate Long Island home prove it’s just as impressive.

The beloved Today star lives in a lavish cottage on Long Island’s North Shore, which is about 50 miles outside of New York City. Jenna shares the enviable property with her longtime husband, Henry Hager, and their three kids, Margaret, Poppy and Hal.

Considering Jenna and Henry — who tied the knot in 2008 – have their hands full with their little tots, they made sure their home is filled with tons of space. Aside from the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the couple’s home is fitted with multiple living areas, a massive kitchen, a formal dining area and more.

The Sisters First author’s house also features an eye-catching outdoor area. In the backyard, you can find a luxurious pool and patio area, as well as plenty of grass for Margaret, Poppy and Hal to play and run around.

Jenna spends a lot of her time in New York City for work, so having her own private escape on Long Island is a dream come true. The doting mom and Henry weren’t even looking to purchase a home in the area, but that all changed when they found the tucked-away cottage.

Jenna — who grew up with dad George W. Bush and mom Laura Bush in Texas — said she came across the home when she and Henry noticed an “Open House” sign on the property.

“I inherited this habit from my mother: We go to open houses for fun,” Jenna explained to Veranda in October 2019. “She has an incredibly strong sense for design … I think she was an architect in a different life … and we both love to look at a space and imagine what it might be. She always says when you visit any house, there’s a feeling you get.”

After Jenna and her businessman hubby took one step into the cottage, she absolutely fell in love. “There was something about it that reminded me of Texas, of being outside,” the Today with Hoda & Jenna star gushed. “Even this close to the city, there was a remoteness to it.”

While Jenna and Henry’s Long Island cottage is where they call home, the television personality also owned a second condo in New York City to make her commute easier to and from Today. In May 2022, the couple put their Big Apple abode on the market for $5.3 million, per Mansion Global. The duo purchased the four-bedroom pad back in 2015 after welcoming their second child. 

Now, their days are filled with fun in the sun and family pool parties at their Long Island escape. The property, located just outside of the city, is the perfect place to raise their little ones and host her fellow Today costars Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie and their families. 

“I am so lucky to work with this group of extraordinary moms. We all have kids who are similar ages, so it’s been really fun and kind of wild,” Jenna gushed to Hello! Magazine in July 2022. “It’s great and I don’t take it lightly. Even this weekend when I was gone, I had one kid, my husband had two and Savannah picked up my kids and took them to church.”
