Pierce Brosnan Is Living in Paradise! Tour the Star’s Beachfront Estate in Hawaii With Wife Keely

Life’s a beach for Pierce Brosnan and his wife, Keely Shaye Smith! The Die Another Day actor and his longtime love are living life exactly how they should be — in relaxation. Pierce and Keely reside in a gorgeous oceanfront estate in Kauai, Hawaii.

“We have a wee cottage out there on the North Shore, and it sits on [five] acres,” the Golden Globe nominee exclusively told Closer in July 2020. Pierce and the Poisoning Paradise actress purchased their abode in 2002 and have been hopping back and forth between Hawaii and their longtime mansion in Malibu, California, ever since.

As Pierce marveled, having a residence on the island is “a gift,” he told Hi Luxury in 2013. “For Keely and I to come here years ago and have some small dream of a getaway for our children, for ourselves and our future, this is truly [a] magical space,” the Mamma Mia! star gushed.

Pierce and Keely, along with their sons — Dylan Brosnan and Paris Brosnan — have been spending more time than ever at their Hawaii hideaway since lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Every morning, the pair and their kids awake to blue skies, warm weather, palm trees and the sound of nature.

Since their residence is right by the beach, the Hollywood hunk and Keely sometimes go for a swim together. They also love soaking up the sun on the sand, snorkeling in the ocean and exploring the private forest sitting right outside their home. The two lovebirds are definitely living in paradise.

It seems the Tomorrow Never Dies star — who said “I do” to the journalist in 2001 — was trying to make Hawaii his permanent and only residence as he put his gorgeous California pad on the market in September 2020. Pierce listed the roughly 12,500-square-foot dwelling for $100 million, the Wall Street Journal reported at the time.

Nearly a year after trying to part ways with the five-bedroom, one-acre property, however, Pierce took his Malibu mansion off the market. The New York Post reported in August 2021 that the World Is Not Enough alum removed his listing without attempting to lower the price tag.

Whether or not Pierce relists his California residence, he made it clear that Hawaii is the only place where he sees himself and Keely settling down. “I love Malibu,” the film icon told the Wall Street Journal. “It has my heart. [But these days], home is very much here in the islands.”
