And the winner is… Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess! The 38-year-old radio star and his pro dance partner, Sharna, 33, took home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy during tonight’s Season 27 Dancing With the Stars finale — and we couldn’t be happier that they were crowned the show’s latest champions!

“Show up, do the work, and great things will happen. This has been #TeamBeautyAndTheGeek’s motto all season and they are now #DWTS CHAMPIONS!!!” the official DWTS Instagram account captioned a sweet snapshot of Bobby and Sharna holding their Mirror Ball Trophies after the Monday, Nov. 19 finale episode.

We’re especially happy that Sharna won Season 27 as this is the longtime Dancing With the Stars pro’s first ever win! The dancer first joined the hit reality show back in 2013 for Season 13 and has since appeared on 12 seasons. Sharna was a three-time runner-up — with Nick Carter in Season 21, James Hinchcliffe in Season 23, and Josh Norman in Season 26 — before winning tonight with Bobby.

Just hours before Sharna and Bobby hit the DWTS stage for the last time, the pro dancer interestingly took to Instagram to slam a hater who criticized Bobby for making it to the finale episode. First, Sharna posted a rehearsal photo that featured Bobby with the sweet caption, “I’ll miss creating for you @mrbobbybones #teambeautyandthegeek.” One person then took out their frustration with the voting process and commented, “You are a great dancer and wonderful choreographer but sorry to say that Bobby Bones does not belong in the finals. This has become more of a popularity show than a dancing show. Best of luck.”

Sharna then defended her dance partner by writing back, “Honey it’s always been a popularity AND a dance contest. Seasons vary but it’s not always the best that wins.
