Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Look Happier Than Ever Making Their Met Gala Debut — See the Pics!

It looks like Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx turned the 2019 Met Gala into a lavish date night! The Batman Begins actress and the Ray actor looked happier than ever making their debut as a couple at the 2019 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala on Monday, May 6.

Although Katie, 40, walked the red carpet on her own, she later met up with the 51-year-old inside. Throughout the night, the brunette beauty and the Oscar-winning star — whose private romance dates all the way back to 2013 — were spotted getting cozy as they smiled and posed for pics with rapper Cardi B in front of the stunning flower wall.

Katie looked mesmerizing as she donned a custom gown brought to life by her best friend and fashion designer, Zac Posen. The gorgeous pink, purple and black creation displayed a train made of 300 yards of multi-layered, hand-sewn tulle. The Dawson’s Creek alum’s gown — which took more than 56 hours to be made, according to the designer’s rep — also featured 3D detailing. Katie tied the breathtaking look together with a sparkly silver Tyler Ellis clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Jamie, on the other hand, looked as handsome as always in a classic black suit. The Django Unchained star made his outfit pop with a matching black skinny tie, sequin panther pin and designer sunglasses. Jamie proved himself to be the perfect date by complementing Katie with matching purple shoes. So cute!

Although Jamie and Katie have always kept much of their relationship under wraps, the adorable couple has been more public as they’ve been spotted out and about together in the recent months. In fact, a source close to the two recently dished that their relationship is going so well, the actor has gotten quite close with Katie’s daughter, Suri Cruise.

“Suri loves Jamie, he makes her laugh and he’s a really good influence on her,” an insider exclusively told Closer Weekly about the adorable 13-year-old daughter, who Katie shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise. “He has daughters so he knows how to talk to girls about what’s going on, he really gets deep with her about school and boys and bullies, which Katie loves.”
