’90s Star Enters a New Chapter After Revealing a Beautiful Family Addition
‘Full House’ star Candace Cameron Bure is now a grandmother, and she already loves the new baby more than she ever imagined she could.
Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure has shared exciting news, revealing that she has just become a grandmother for the first time.
Bure, who currently works with Great American Family and previously worked with Hallmark and competed on Dancing with the Stars, took to social media to reveal that her family had just expanded by one.
On September 29, Bure shared a handful of photos on her Instagram page. In the caption, she wrote, “Introducing our grandson Bond Leo Bure,” noting that he was born on August 4.
Bure continued, “Baby Bond was born 10 weeks early weighing 3 lbs. For the next 6 weeks NICU doctors, nurses and mom and dad were amazing in their care and love for him. He’s thriving and is finally home.”
She gushed, “I had no idea the love I would have for my grandchild. It’s a love like no other, beyond anything I imagined. My heart is so full.”
The Fuller House alum’s first grandbaby was born to her son, Lev Bure, and his wife, Elliott Dunham Bure. The actress and her husband, Valeri Bure, have three children.
The oldest of the three is Natasha Perry, who married Bradley Perry in September 2025 and is also about to welcome her first child. The youngest is Maksim Bure, who is 24. Lev is 26, and Natasha is 28.
Bure has been quite excited to become a grandmother, telling Us Weekly in August she wanted to be the “fun grandma.”
She already plans to spoil the grandkids when they’re with her. Bure is already thinking about playing games, parks, ice cream, and “all the good things.”
Naturally, Bure’s big announcement on Instagram prompted an outpouring of love and support from her fans.
One supporter commented, “Such a beautiful little man. He will make the GREATEST addition to your already amazing family. Congratulations, hot grandmomma!”
Another comment read, “Congratulations!! The best chapter begins now!”
In a response to a fan’s comment, Bure revealed that her grandma name will be “CandyGram,” which everybody already seems to adore.
