Iconic ’80s & ’90s Movie Star, 60, Looks Unrecognizable During Rare Public Appearance

John Cusack has been a beloved Hollywood heartthrob for decades, but his latest appearance has fans doing double takes. The 60-year-old actor recently appeared on the Josh Horowitz podcast Happy Sad Confused, where he looked back on some of his most memorable roles. However, many viewers couldn’t help commenting on how different he looks today.

During his appearance on Horowitz’s podcast, Cusack shared great stories about some of his most beloved films. He talked about his speech in Say Anything, much of which he wrote himself, as well as roles he was rumored to turn down, such as gigs in Breaking Bad and Judd Nelson‘s role in The Breakfast Club.

While Cusack had plenty of stories to tell, many fans were caught off guard by how different he looked in this appearance compared.

On Facebook, fans had plenty of theories about who Cusack resembled, with comparisons ranging from Clay Aiken and Wayne Newton to Nicholas Cage and even fictional characters like Michael Myers and Pennywise.

One person on Facebook quipped, “He looks like a dude wearing a mask of John Cusack.”

Ultimately, plenty of fans enjoyed the opportunity to see and hear Cusack again, regardless of his appearance.

In addition to taking a look back at several of his roles from the ’80s and ’90s, Cusack also talked about his new book. Momo was just released, and it is described as a “wild, genre-bending road trip with cosmic stakes.”
