We All Need to Try Allison Janney’s Red Carpet Routine (EXCLUSIVE)

No one does red carpet ready quite like Allison Janney! In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, The West Wing star let us in on her pre-event regimen. We must say, we are willing to give it a shot!

The 57-year-old revealed the process involves “a very long hot bath" and "[taking] the dogs for a walk, then my glam squad comes over and gets me all swirled up!” You will definitely see Allison at the 19th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 17, 2017 — where she is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress thanks to her starring in Mom.

In previous years, she's won two out of the three times she was nominated for the same series as Outstanding Supporting Actress for the same series. Allison also been nominated and won in the Outstanding Guest Actress category for her work in Masters of Sex, and for The West Wing, she has won in both Outstanding Lead and Outstanding Supporting actress categories.

While the actress has had one heck of a career, she's also quite the romantic. Back in March 2015, she revealed the one thing she would sacrifice her career for. “The only scenario where I’d give up acting is if I fell madly in love with someone who wanted to move to, say, Budapest. Then I’d say, ‘OK, I’ll do it,’" she told Express. "I do think I am a romantic at heart."

Allison, who was last known to be dating the hot young Philip Joncas, then added, "I always feel like I have to have someone in my life to make decisions with me. I have done a lot and would like to do more. But it would have to be the right relationship for me to change my life.”
