Angelina Jolie’s Date to the 2018 Golden Globes Is Her Teenage Son, Pax!

We spot a super cute mother-son duo! Golden Globes presenter Angelina Jolie brought 14-year-old son Pax as her date to this year's ceremony, and was spotted fixing his tux — which donned a Times' Up pin! — on the red carpet. The Oscar winner looked super chic herself, rocking a long-sleeve black gown in protest against sexual harassment.

The teen was adopted 10 years ago from Vietnam by the brunette beauty and Brad Pitt, who split after two years of marriage in September 2016. In a recent interview with the New York Times, Angie revealed how her children "helped" and "stood by her" during such an emotional year. "They’re the best friends I’ve ever had," she shared.

"None of it’s easy. It’s very, very difficult, a very painful situation, and I just want my family healthy," she said, adding, "I never expect to be the one that everybody understands or likes and that’s OK, because I know who I am, and the kids know who I am."

Brad also spoke out about their divorce in May. "It was too sad to be [home] at first, so I went and stayed on a friend's floor, a little bungalow in Santa Monica," he told GQ Style, also hinting that his drinking was partly to blame for their breakup.

"I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family," the Fight Club actor said. "But even this last year, you know — things I wasn't dealing with. I was boozing too much. It's just become a problem. And I'm really happy it's been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I've got my feelings in my fingertips again. I think that's part of the human challenge: You either deny them all of your life or you answer them and evolve."

He continued, "This house was always chaotic and crazy, voices and bangs coming from everywhere, and then, as you see, there are days like this: very…very solemn. And it's hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven't been great at it."
