Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor Looked ‘Happy’ at the 2019 Emmys Despite 2017 Split
A night to remember! Ben Stiller and wife Christine Taylor made a rare appearance together when they showed up at the 2019 Emmys — despite having split in 2017. On the red carpet, the pair looked like they were ready to spend a great fun-filled evening together and it seems like they had a blast once they took their seats.
Inside L.A.’s Microsoft Theater on Sunday, September 22, the pair sat a few rows behind Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Brad Falchuk, who also made a rare appearance at the star-studded event. However, eyewitness couldn’t help but notice how Ben and Christine were getting really chummy during the show.
According to Us Weekly, Christine “was smiling and leaning forward and in toward” Ben and they both looked “happy” enjoying each other’s company. The eyewitness also reports that the duo never left “each others’ sides” all night. How sweet is that?!
In 2017, the pair announced they were getting a divorce after spending 17 years together as a married couple. However, this past April, Closer learned that the former lovers had decided to give their relationship another chance.
“Ben and Christine are giving their marriage another shot,” a source admitted. “He never got over her after the split nor was he interested in starting a relationship with anyone else whilst they were separated.”
Not only that, but Ben and Christine have a lot of history together. They’re both proud parents to their kids — Ella, 17, and Quinlin, 14. “Ben’s a great dad and spent as much time as possible with the kids during the separation, who are both thrilled that their parents are back together,” the insider revealed. “Even though Ben has his pick of women, he’d often bring Quinlin or Ella as his plus one to events in a bid to show Christine that family is his No. 1 priority and he only has eyes for her.”
Looks like Ben and Christine know that they’ve already found a forever soulmate in each other! “[Ben’s] been kicking himself that he let her go,” a source previously told Star about the couple. “They had their problems, but Ben knows he’s never going to meet someone like her again.”
