Ben Stiller and Ex-Wife Christine Taylor Were Reportedly Spotted ‘Holding Hands’ During Family Night Out

Who would have thought?! Ben Stiller and ex-wife Christine Taylor were recently spotted getting very cozy two years after they announced their separation. The former couple took their kids to see Broadway’s Pretty Woman: The Musical at the Nederlander Theatre on Saturday, April 6, and, while there, Ben, 53, and Christine, 47, couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

“It was a sweet family night out,” a source dished to People. “The kids were glowing because they all love the theater, and Ben and Christine looked happy together, smiling and laughing and holding hands, especially during intermission.”

Ben and Christine share two kids together — daughter Ella Stiller, 17, and son Quinlin Stiller, 13. After the show was over, the family went backstage to meet the cast and took some fun photos with Andy Karl and Orfeh, who respectively play Edward Lewis and Kit De Luca in the musical.

Even though it seems like Ben and Christine may be getting back together, an insider previously told Star the duo only like to hang out because they have children. “Ben and Christine insist that they’re staying friendly for the sake of their kids, but it hasn’t gone unnoticed that they’re still acting like a couple.”

After all, when Us Weekly asked Christine for an update on her relationship with Ben, she said, “We’re together all the time. We’re a big family. It’s wonderful, it’s wonderful.”

In May 2017, Ben and Christine publicly announced that they will be separating after 17 years of marriage. “With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,” their joint statement read. “Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”
