Following Julie Chen‘s heartbreaking announcement that she is officially leaving The Talk, fans couldn’t help but wonder who’s going to replace the stunning TV personality on the daytime talk show.

Luckily for us, during her farewell speech, the 48-year-old hinted to viewers who she’d like to take her spot — and that person is Carrie Ann Inaba! “Carrie Ann, I don’t know — but in my opinion, you look awful good sitting in that chair, my Asian sister,” Julie said in the clip.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18, Carrie Anna actually filled in for Julie on the show as a guest co-host. After the episode, she tweeted thanking them for the opportunity. “It was an emotional day at The Talk It was an honor to be included today. Sending out so much love,” she wrote on the social media platform.

Julie officially left  The Talk that same day in an emotional video shared to her Twitter, just days after her former CBS CEO husband, Leslie Moonves, stepped down from the network following sexual harassment accusations.

“I have been at The Talk since the day it started nine years ago, and the cast, crew, and staff have become family to me over the years. But right now, I need to spend more time at home with my husband and our young son. So I’ve decided to leave The Talk,” Julie began.

“I want to thank everyone at the show for our wonderful years together. I will always, always cherish the memories we shared. Most importantly, I want to thank you, the viewers, for allowing me into your home every day. It was a privilege that I will forever be grateful for. To everyone behind the scenes… I send you my love. I will miss you all very, very much,” she added before she started crying. Don’t worry, we think your chair would be in great hands with the Dancing With the Stars judge Julie!
