Corinne Foxx Calls Her Father Jamie the ‘Most Supportive Dad in the World’
She’s a daddy’s girl! Corinne Foxx recently gushed about how much she loves her father, Jamie Foxx, and explained how he was such a great dad to her while growing up.
“Just in general my dad is like the most supportive dad in the world,” Corrine, 25, told People. “The fact that he believes in me without a doubt it gives me the confidence to do so much. That man. I can see sometimes when we’re shooting Beat Shazam he’ll look at me and he’s just like, ‘My little girl!'”

Jaime must be the proudest father in the world. Not only does Corrine star alongside her dad on the popular FOX series but she also played Rachel Abrams in Sweet/Vicious and is currently wrapping up her new movie 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. Plus, she’s also really supportive of her dad’s relationship with Tom Cruise‘s ex-wife, Katie Holmes.
“They’re really good, really great,” Corinne previously gushed in another interview. “They are so great and Katie is always so chic.” At the 2019 Met Gala on Monday, May 6, Katie and Jamie showed up as a couple when they attended the New York City event together.
“They were wonderful,” Corinne said about the couple and added that they’re “really happy.” Now that Jamie and his girlfriend are no longer keeping their relationship a secret, Katie has been feeling like a huge weight has been lifted off of her shoulders.
“Katie was so happy to finally embrace her relationship with Jamie. It was a great feeling for Katie to be out in the open, not having to hide their years-long romance any longer. This is a great sign of things to come,” an insider recently told Closer Weekly. “Katie and Jamie are officially a couple.”
