‘Dancing With the Stars: Athletes’ Is Anyone’s Game at This Point — Meet the Final 3 Competitors

Tonight's the night where Dancing With the Stars: Athletes announces yet another Mirrorball Trophy winner! Fans are anxiously awaiting the season finale, where either Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber, Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess, or Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson will make first place. Tonya Harding

Tonya, 47, is a retired American figure skater. She won her first national figure skating title in 1991 and nailed a triple axel during her competition — making her the first American woman to do so. Three years later, her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly hired a hit man to attack fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan at the 1994 Olympic trials. Tonya pled guilty to hindering the investigation, and in turn ruined her future as a competitor for the US. In 2017, her biopic I, Tonya, hit theaters — catapulting the controversial athlete back into the public eye.

Josh Norman

Josh, 30, is an NFL star who plays cornerback for the Washington Redskins. He was the fifth-round draft pick for the Carolina Panthers back in 2012, after a successful career as a college football player at Coastal Carolina University. Josh has even been rumored to date his dancing partner, Sharna, throughout the season — though she was quick to shut those rumors down.

"I am the only single woman on the show," she told Entertainment Tonight last month. "So naturally if there is anyone that people are gonna think there is a showmance for, I am your girl, apparently." However, she admitted to ESPN that the two "have a lot of fun together" and "have great chemistry" — so, there's that!

Adam Rippon

Adam, 28, is a fellow figure skater who became the first openly gay man to ever qualify for the Winter Olympics for the 2018 year. "It’s amazing. Being gay was never a big deal for me. But it’s a big thing for a lot of people and I think it’s just important to be visible and out and show your experience. It’s a little part of who I am, but people still discriminate other LGBTQ people," he previously told Life & Style.

"It’s important to be out and it doesn’t really change anything. I got to the Olympics on my athletic achievements and now here I am. This is who I am. This is what I’m made of and I think it’s important to show that being gay is such a little part of that."
