‘Dancing With the Stars’ Drops First Season 35 Photos, and Fans Are Going Wild

The Season 35 Dancing with the Stars cast will be formally announced on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 2. Ahead of the cast reveal, the show has given DWTS fans one big thing they have been eagerly waiting for, at last.

For the past few seasons, the show has released some black-and-white photos of the professional dancers and their celebrity partners, with their faces hidden. Dancing with the Stars fans tend to go wild analyzing each photo, trying to determine which celebrities have been cast and who their partners are.

Many Dancing with the Stars fans have already been working hard to figure out the Season 35 cast and partnerships before the official announcement. Do the newly released photos change anything spoiler fans thought they already knew?

Unfortunately, only five pairs were highlighted in the initial batch of photos posted on the Dancing with the Stars social media pages. That was enough to get fans buzzing, though, as the Instagram post received about 70,000 likes in about an hour.

The caption of the post read, “Please remain calm. (Or don’t.).”

A thread about the photos on Reddit had nearly 500 comments in an hour, as well.

One Reddit user admitted that it was harder to figure out the pairs in each photo than they expected. Someone else pointed out that this time, some of the photos are cropped fairly tightly, meaning fans can’t necessarily tell much about anybody’s height or body type.

“Alright everybody! It’s time for our DWTS detectives to look at every single person’s hands, jewelry and body marks,” one fan joked.

That person may have been joking, but longtime Dancing with the Stars fans who take part in this process every year know that the comment was also highly accurate. Bags, phone cases, jewelry, tattoos, freckles, and even moles are scrutinized by fans who are eager to piece the casting together before the network reveals it.

In the new thread about the Season 35 photos, one Redditor even admitted, “These photos have me analyzing cuticle beds.”

Another Redditor added, “Hiding pinkies this year I see.”

“The chaos in this thread lol,” someone else commented.

“I love how long we’ve been begging for these and how bad we are at guessing now that they’re here,” read an additional Reddit comment.

So far, a few guesses seem to be rising to the top, but none of the photos make it easy to figure out.

Based on other Dancing with the Stars spoilers and tiny details analyzed in the photos, it seems that many fans suspect the five couples shown in the photos might be:

• Emma Slater and Jackson Olson
• Rylee Arnold and Connor Wood
• Jan Ravnik and Tatyana Ali
• Britt Stewart and Taylor Hanson or Tyler Cameron
• Pasha Pashkov and Amber Glenn

However, numerous other possibilities have been suggested by fans online as well. Dancing with the Stars fans will finally get confirmation of the Season 35 celebrities and their partners, with the two-night premiere coming on September 15 and 16.
