‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Cheryl Burke Marries Matthew Lawrence in Beautiful San Diego Ceremony
Congratulations are in order! Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence just got married on Thursday, May 23, in a gorgeous ceremony in San Diego, California. The blushing bride looked stunning in a figure-hugging, off-the-shoulder white gown. Her sleek black bob was topped with a gorgeous veil, and she carried a bouquet of snow-white calla lilies down the aisle to her beau. Just beautiful!
Last spring, the Dancing With the Stars pro dancer announced she and her beau had gotten engaged in a sweet Instagram post. “OMG! So far so good for 34!? #AMillionTimesYes #ImEngaged #HereComesTheBride,” she adorably captioned a slideshow of pics of her and Matthew. In the romantic shots, Cheryl made sure the beautiful engagement ring was at the front and center of every photo. Just look at that rock!
“Congrats on your engagement ? may all wonderful things come your way ????,” one of one fans commented. Another wrote, “So happy for two beautiful souls! ❤️ Congratulations!”
Before Cheryl, 35, tied the knot with Matthew, 39, the dancer had no doubts in her mind that the child star would be the one she’d eventually marry. Talk about being soulmates, right?
“We want kids and all of that, so we’ll see what happens,” Cheryl previously gushed to Us Weekly about starting a future with Matthew. “We’re going to try maybe for three [kids], but I think right now one healthy one would be great. We really want to do it right. We want to do the steps of being engaged, moving in together, getting married, and having kids.”
Even though the couple don’t have any kids together just yet, they still have a lot of time to start a family and raise their children exactly how they planned. A whole life, to be exact.
“We’re just like a normal couple,” Cheryl gushed. “We just sit on the couch and sometimes stay up really late continuing to watch whatever we’re watching. He’s an actor, he’s been in the spotlight as well, which makes our relationship so much easier because he understands the rollercoaster ride that we both are on.”
