Goldie Hawn And Kurt Russell Are On ‘Grandma And Grandpa Duty’ For Kate Hudson’s Daughter Rani Rose — See The Pic!

Do you know how they say Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year? Well, things just got a little merrier for Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, as they are spending the holiday season with their new granddaughter.

“Grandma and Grandpa Duty… or should I say, Mr. and Mrs. Claus,” Kate Hudson captioned a photo of her parents gazing into her daughter Rani Rose’s eyes. See the adorable picture below!

Goldie’s daughter, Kate, welcomed her first daughter on Oct. 2 alongside her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa. Giving birth to a beautiful baby girl is “a dream come true” for the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress, a source told People a few days following Rani Rose’s birth. However, Kate isn’t the only one who’s over-the-moon.

Kurt recently dished that he is so happy that his stepdaughter gave birth to his first granddaughter (though Kurt is technically Kate’s stepfather, the Bride Wars star considers him her true dad because of her estranged relationship with Bill Hudson). Rani Rose, two months old, “is obviously a fantastic addition,” Kurt gushed to People at the world premiere of The Christmas Chronicles in LA on Sunday, Nov. 18.

The 67-year-old is even more excited to spend this Christmas with the little bundle of joy. “It will be fun just to watch her little eyes looking at the lights on the Christmas tree and taking it all in for the first time.” So cute!

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor lit up when he talked about Kate, 39, as a mother to a baby girl. “We’re really glad that she got [a daughter] and had an opportunity to have her,” he raved. “We’re proud of Danny and the relationship that grew between Kate and Danny — the result being Rani Rose.”

Rani Rose is the couple’s sixth grandchild. Goldie, 72, and her longtime love are the grandparents to Kate’s sons from previous relationships, Bingham Hawn, 7, and Ryder Russell, 14. They are also the grandparents to Goldie’s son Oliver Hudson’s daughter, Rio Laura, 5, and sons, Bodhi Hawn, 8, and Wilder Brooks, 11.

With all these kiddos running around, Goldie and Kurt are guaranteed to have a very merry Christmas with their large family!
