Kate Hudson And Boyfriend Danny Fujikawa Welcome A Baby Girl — Find Out Her Unique Name!

She’s here! Kate Hudson announced the birth of her sweet baby girl on Wednesday, Oct. 3, stating that her bundle of joy with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa was welcomed into the world just one day earlier on Tuesday, Oct. 2. We’re so obsessed with the unique name they gave her, too!

“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa,” wrote Kate, 39. “Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.” The baby’s full name is Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa.

Thankfully, mom and baby are both healthy following the birth. “Everyone is doing well and happy as can be,” she continued. “Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.” How sweet!

Kate already has two boys: Bingham Hawn, 7, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and Ryder Russell, 14, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson. We bet they’re going to love having a baby sister! 

Kate has been very open with her fans during her whole pregnancy. Just days before Kate welcomed her daughter, she shared a fun pic from her baby shower, featuring Sara Foster and jeweler Jennifer Meyer. She captioned the adorable photo, “Grateful for these beauties throwing me the sweetest celebration for baby girl yesterday ? #WeReady.” Apparently she really was ready!

Kate and Danny have yet to share a photo of their sweet baby girl, but we can’t wait to see whose features she got. One thing’s for sure: that little princess is going to be stunning with those amazing genes! Congratulations to the whole family, we can’t wait to see your little one grow.
