How Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Spend Time With Their Kids — Both in the City and in the Country

Home on the range! Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani love to get away from Los Angeles and spend time on the country singer’s ranch in Oklahoma with her three boys — Kingston, 13, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 5 — a source told Us Weekly.

“When they’re in L.A., they go to church on the weekends with the kids or to Orange County to see Gwen’s parents,” one source told the publication. But when the duo is down South, they love to be outside. “Blake loves getting dirty with the boys. They’re always playing basketball or running around. They love it there because it’s just the five of them out on the land, hunting or hiking.”

Even though the “Hollaback Girl” songstress, 49, is from California, she is not always interested in her glamorous surroundings. “She stays away from the Hollywood scene and is a total homebody,” the insider continued. “Take away her celebrity status, and she shares the same traditional Midwestern values as Blake.”

So, is marriage in the cards for the pair? Yes, but it sounds like there is one obstacle in her way. The blonde beauty is legally divorced from her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, but wants to have her marriage declared invalid first. “She won’t wed Blake without an annulment because she wants to marry him in a Catholic church,” the source noted. The process might take a bit of time, but “they’re willing to wait.”

Not only is the public curious as to when the Hollywood A-listers will walk down the aisle, but Ellen DeGeneres also encouraged the 42-year-old to get down on one knee.

The Grammy nominee appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 1, and she gifted him a clock. “So, Jennifer Lopez was here, and I wanted to help her out with A-Rod, because she wanted to marry him, obviously like Gwen wants to marry you,” the talk show host, 61, told Blake, before revealing why she thinks the timepiece is an ideal present. “And I gave her a clock that she could give to him, like the clock is ticking, time is passing. I gave her the clock, and literally, like, a week later, he proposed to her.”

Blake couldn’t help but chuckle. “So, you’re saying, this is my … There’s a chance she’s going to ask me to marry her, you’re saying with this clock,” he said while accepting the clock. “Yeah, I flipped it around and put it on her,” she said.
