Hallmark Fans Say Lacey Chabert’s New Series Is Unlike Anything They’ve Seen Before
Fas have plenty to say about the new Lacey Chabert series on Hallmark+, ‘Paris is Always a Good Idea.’
After months of excitement and anticipation, Hallmark fans have finally had an opportunity to check out Lacey Chabert’s latest project, Paris is Always a Good Idea.
The first two episodes just dropped on the Hallmark Channel’s streaming platform, Hallmark+, with four more episodes to come. Fans seem to have plenty to say about the limited-run series now that they’ve watched a couple of episodes.
On Instagram, one viewer gushed, “The chemistry was unreal! Can’t wait for more.”
Another wrote, “Watched it, loved it, cried during it!!!!”
On Reddit, one person noted, “Wow this definitely is not your typical hallmark show/movie…This series feels way more mature, very pleasantly surprised.”
Another Redditor raved, “Absolutely love the show! This show is a treat!”
Someone else agreed that Paris is Always a Good Idea feels quite different from Hallmark’s typical productions. Those who noticed the different vibe seemed to be pleased.
“I thought it was very well done! I found myself smiling throughout, and am really looking forward to the next episodes,” read someone else’s response.
The 6-episode Hallmark+ series is based on the Jenn McKinlay novel of the same name.
McKinlay took to Instagram after watching the first two episodes on Hallmark+ to share her reaction. She admitted, “I am completely undone.”
She continued, “I love, love, love how the story was adapted to film. It’s just perfect!”
In addition, McKinlay tagged the Instagram pages of the cast members and gushed, “You all brought me to tears bringing these characters in my head to life. Thank you so much.”
Chabert told Us Weekly that the series differs from the book in some ways, so there will be some surprises in the upcoming episodes. She added that she hopes those who have read the book and loved it will also love the Hallmark+ version.
