Viewers invited Ben Napier and Erin Napier into their homes via their TV screens when their show Home Town premiered back in March, and now they can’t get enough — so much that the network has decided to renew the show for another season. But there’s some big changes ahead because the husband-and-wife duo are about to become a family of three — Erin announced that she’s pregnant with the couple’s first baby earlier this month — and they’re also in the middle of filming Season 2. Who are Erin and Ben Napier?
Erin, 32, and Ben, 34, are college sweethearts and business owners who met at Jones County Junior College and they both later attended the University of Mississipi, where Erin studied graphic design and Ben studied history. Ben is also a former youth minister and he resigned from his position at the Laurel First United Methodist Church in October 2014 so that he could take on a full-time position at their businesses, Laurel Mercantile Co. and Scotsman Co. — where he works as a woodworker. While working alongside her hubby, Erin also keeps a daily online journal.

Erin and Ben work together in their hometown to help restore and renovate gorgeous, old homes in the area for newcomers.
Where is Home Town filmed?
The HGTV show is filmed on location in Laurel, MS — a city in Jones County that sits just about 30 miles north of Hattiesburg and about 90 miles away from Jackson. As of 2016, the town’s population is just under 19,000 and it was founded in 1882 as a lumber town.
