Iconic Superhero Star, 75, Turns Heads With Unexpected New Photos

More than 50 years after she starred in Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter still makes hearts race. A recent social media post from Carter, 75, reminded her followers why they have adored her for all of these years.

Carter had fans doing a double-take after sharing a playful behind-the-scenes bathtub photo from the set of Super Troopers 3 on her Instagram page.

She was all smiles as she filmed the comedic scene on the set, and based on her Instagram post caption, it seems she was having a blast.

The caption read, “@supertroopers Ride Again!!! Follow them and us (returning cast) for a fantastic road romp!!”

Carter teasingly added, “But…wait for it…the last scene! I’m naked in a bathtub???? Oh nooooo, @jaychandrasekhar you promised not to show that!”

Jay Chandrasekhar is the director of the film, and he stood next to Carter in the third photo she shared. Succession actor Brian Cox, who seems to be the person occupying a second bathtub that was mostly out of frame, also took a photo with Carter.

The former Wonder Woman star wore a cozy gray robe in the photos where she was out of the bathtub, posing with others on the movie set.

Carter appeared in the first two Super Troopers movies as well, playing Governor Jessman. The original movie in the comedic trilogy hit theaters in 2001, and the second was released in 2018.

Hundreds of fans commented on Carter’s post, excited to see her having fun and still acting. Quite a few people wished her a belated happy birthday, as Carter turned 75 on July 24.

More than a few gushed over how stunning Carter still is and loved that she was embracing a bathtub scene.

One fan raved, “Can’t wait! And @reallyndacarter you look amazing! You don’t age!!”

Another added, “Lynda you look so vibrant! Kudos to you for taking such good care of yourself.”

Super Troopers 3, featuring some fun scenes with Carter reprising her role of Governor Jessman, hits movie theaters on August 7.
