Since Ozzy Osbourne is at a higher risk of contracting coronavirus, son Jack Osbourne is doing all he can to keep his dad safe. The Portals to Hell star gave an update on how the former Black Sabbath frontman is holding up amid the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

“He’s a little depressed because he can’t do anything … and he’s fallen victim to watching the news all day,” Jack, 34, told ET on Thursday, April 30. “I’m like, ‘Dude, turn that crap off. [Watch] a little bit in the morning, a little bit at night. Get the, you know, the broad strokes. But let’s unplug the IV of news right now.”

Because Ozzy, 71, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease earlier this year, he’s much more susceptible to catching the deadly virus. Although the iconic crooner is feeling isolated at home due to social distancing measures, Jack dished his dad “is doing pretty good” otherwise.

“Here’s the thing, I am not letting a disease started by bats kill my dad. That’s not how this is going, OK?” Jack jokingly continued, referring to the time his famous father once bit off a bat’s head during a Black Sabbath show in 1982. “This is not some giant revenge plot from bats to get my dad back.” LOL!

Like Ozzy, Jack is also at higher risk for COVID-19. The former Osbournes star — who suffers from multiple sclerosis — revealed how he’s coping with being cooped up at home. “I’m doing great, you know,” he shared. “Just been kind of keeping my head down and trying to stay as healthy as possible.”

Jack also explained he’s keeping himself entertained by hanging out with his beloved daughters Pearl, 8, Andy, 4, and Minnie, 2. “There’s like this looming shadow of impending doom, and like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe this is happening.’ But then I’m on a really good routine at home,” the proud dad gushed. “I’m exercising every day, I’m like being one of those [people]. Trying to do good at home — I’m just not posting about it.”

As fans of the Osbourne family recall, Ozzy — who shares Jack and daughters Aimee Osbourne, 36, and Kelly Osbourne, 35, with wife Sharon Osbourne — first opened up about his battle with Parkinson’s during an appearance on Good Morning America in late January.

“I’m no good with secrets,” the “Crazy Train” singer — who’s taking nerve pills and medication to treat his condition — explained alongside the Talk host, 67, at the time. “I cannot walk around with it anymore ’cause it’s like I’m running out of excuses, you know?”

Prior to his heartbreaking diagnosis, Ozzy suffered a slew of health issues throughout 2019. In November, the iconic artist underwent surgery following a terrible fall at his home. He also battled pneumonia, had a separate surgery for an infection in his hand and another hospitalization following complications from the flu.

We’re praying for the Osbourne clan during this unprecedented pandemic!
