Jim Carrey Shows Off His New Girlfriend Ginger Gonzaga On Golden Globes Red Carpet
It’s that TV set kind of love! Jim Carrey showed off his new girlfriend and Kidding co-star, Ginger Gonzaga, at the Golden Globe Nominees Celebration in West Hollywood, CA, on Jan. 5. The Bruce Almighty actor, 56, wore a black suit jacket while his lady sported a low-cut white dress and heels. The pair held hands and smiled for the camera at the event.
The 34-year-old took to Instagram to share a cute photo with her beau on the carpet. She captioned the photo, “Most partial to this talented nominee. #goldenglobes.”
The couple decided to make another appearance at the Golden Globes carpet on Sunday, Jan. 6, and the pair looked cuter than ever. The lovebirds even matched, as they both wore dark blue outfits.
Kidding was nominated for two Golden Globes this year — Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Jim. Even though the pair works together on their hit show, they actually have a lengthy professional history. The brunette beauty also starred in I’m Dying Up Here, which the funny man executive-produced.
The last time Jim was in a relationship was with Cathriona White, whom he dated for three years. Unfortunately, the makeup artist died from a prescription drug overdose at just 30 years old in September 2015.
“I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona,” the actor revealed to Us Weekly at the time. “She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled.”
It’s nice to see that Jim is getting back out there, considering a month and a half ago, he told Radio Times that he lives “an isolated life,” however he admitted that he had not given up on love.
