Joanna Gaines Recalls Telling Husband Chip About Her Celebrity Crush — And It’s David Letterman!

We all have our interesting celebrity crushes from back in the day, and Joanna Gaines is no different, as she recently revealed she used to be all about David Letterman.

The 41-year-old took to her Instagram story recently to inform her fans that she was pretty crazy about the former late show host, 72, and had no problem telling her boyfriend at the time, Chip Gaines. In fact, the Fixer Upper star even has a framed photo of David at her company Magnolia’s headquarters in Waco, Texas.

“True story, when Chip and I were dating he asked me who my celebrity crush was,” the TV star wrote on her story. “I quickly answered and said @letterman. This story justifies taking this picture for sure.” Take a look at her post below!

Chip, 44, shouldn’t worry too much, as David has been married to his wife, Regina Lasko, since 2009. They share one son, Harry. As for the HGTV couple, they tied the knot back in 2003, and have 5 children — daughters Ella Rose, 13, and Emmie Kay, 9, and sons Drake, 14, Duke, 13, and baby Crew, 11 months.

No word yet if Joanna will be meeting her crush in the near future, but perhaps David can show up on her and Chip’s new TV network next summer, which will be led by current HGTV president Allison Page.

We’re ready to get started and are expectant for all that’s ahead.”
