John Stamos’ Pregnant Wife Caitlin McHugh Was Robbed Just Before Their Wedding (REPORT)

We’re so glad she’s ok! John Stamos‘ pregnant wife, Caitlin McHugh, had quite a scare just days before the couple tied the knot on Saturday, Feb. 3 — she was robbed. Beverly Hills police reportedly told Us Weekly that thieves stole about $165,000 of jewelry from 31-year-old Caitlin’s hotel room on Friday, Feb. 2. The room was allegedly unoccupied at the time of the incident and there are currently no suspects.

Following the incident, TMZ reported that John’s bride might be held accountable for the missing jewelry, which was lent to her from famed celebrity jeweler Neil Lane. However, a source later told Us Weekly, “John’s a lucky guy. Neil and John are super close friends and John is not going to have to go into his pockets and pay anything. Neil will provide him with more jewelry and beautiful diamonds and this won’t set things back for the wedding at all.” What a relief!

One day after the robbery, John, 54, and Caitlin were all smiles as they exchanged vows in an intimate California ceremony. The couple — who began dating in fall 2016 — tied the knot in front of about 50 guests at the Little Brown Church in Studio City, CA. A reception followed at John’s home in Beverly Hills. “Caitlin looked absolutely stunning in a princess dress,” a source revealed to People, adding that the bride opted for a white ballgown with a tulle skirt while John wore a classic black tuxedo. “They exchanged vows in front of family and close friends. It was a very touching ceremony. There were tears but mostly smiles. John and Caitlin looked very happy.”

The Fuller House star popped the question to Caitlin last October in an elaborate Disney-themed proposal. Just two months later, the lovebirds announced they are expecting their first baby. “The [pregnancy] happened. Then I said, I better have a ring on her finger because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway. So I called her parents to ask, and it was like, ‘You better!'” John has said. So cute!
