Katie Holmes Is Glowing After Going Public With Jamie Foxx: She’s ‘Constantly Smiling’

So happy! Katie Holmes has been spotted out in public numerous times recently, and she’s been looking fantastic! Although there’s a reason why that is: the world finally knows about her and her man, Jamie Foxx.

“It’s like a huge weight’s been lifted, and that’s reflecting itself in all aspects of Katie’s life. She’s got a spring in her step, is constantly smiling and feels emboldened to wear prettier, more fashionable outfits as opposed to the dowdy and downbeat choices she was making before,” an insider exclusively reveals to Closer Weekly.

“Katie’s splurged tens of thousands on a ton of new designer clothes and shoes, purses and jewelry. She’s having a lot of fun and wants to attend a lot of public events with Jamie this summer,” the source added. Last month, the Dawson’s Creek alum, 40, was seen in NYC rocking quite the printed navy blue dress, matched with a burgundy purse — wearing a smile too!

Just a few days later, the actress looked gorgeous once again, this time in a summer dress matched with blue heels, designer sunglasses and a rust-colored purse — once again looking filled with joy.

“Katie and Jamie are officially a couple,” another exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. “Katie was so happy to finally embrace her relationship with Jamie. It was a great feeling for Katie to be out in the open, not having to hide their years-long romance any longer. This is a great sign of things to come.” The pair was even arm-in-arm at the Met Gala last month.

“The Met Gala was like their coming out party,” the insider explained.
