Keanu Reeves’ New Reality Show Has Girlfriend Alexandra Grant’s ‘Influence Front-and-Center’

Keanu Reeves is pouring his heart and soul into a new reality show that follows his love of motorcycling – and a source exclusively tells Closer that it’s strengthening his relationship with longtime partner Alexandra Grant in the process.

“Everybody loves that Keanu is dipping his toe into non-fiction TV with his new motorcycling reality project, but Alexandra’s influence is front-and-center in all of that,” the source says.

According to the source, it’s an “open secret” that Reeves, 61, could easily return to the John Wick franchise and “grab a $30 million payday for his services.” However, Grant, 53, has encouraged him to pursue projects that showcase a different side of his personality.

“She’s shown him that there’s a better way to live and more positive energy he can put out into the universe with the various comedies and children’s movies he’s been making recently and of course, his new show that he’s working on,” the source explains.

The source says Grant loves to see the Matrix star focus on things other than the demanding action roles that have dominated much of his career.

“She lives to see him be passionate about something other than learning the latest gunfighting techniques and stunt routines he has to do for the Wick franchise,” the source adds. “Being an action movie hero was something that worked out for him, but it was never the master plan, and Alexandra knows it.”

The source shares that Grant “encourages Keanu’s softer, more human side every chance she can get.”

“Hopefully, she actually appears on-camera on Keanu’s new show so that his fans can get a better insight into how she supports and encourages him, because it’s a beautiful thing to witness firsthand,” the source concludes.

Reeves and Grant didn’t go public with their romance until 2019, but the two actually met at a dinner party a decade earlier. They went on to collaborate together on multiple projects before cofounding their publishing company, X Artists’ Books.
