Kelly Reilly is being offered money-spinning roles galore in the wake of Dutton Ranch‘s record-breaking success, a source tells Closer.
The new Yellowstone spinoff — in which she plays Beth Dutton opposite Cole Hauser‘s Rip Wheeler — became the biggest original series launch in Paramount+ history when it premiered in May, Variety reports, and has already been officially renewed for a second season.
“Even with years more [of] Yellowstone universe stories to tell, wheels are starting to spin on what Kelly can do to expand her footprint in the industry,” reveals the source, “especially during the four or five months out of the year when she isn’t shooting the show.”
The 48-year-old actress has been in the business for decades and “has nothing more to prove as far as her talent goes,” the source notes. “But this latest success … is forcing people to take her even more seriously and wonder if she can step up to being a multi-platform producer like Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman have become in the modern streaming era.”

It would be a new frontier for Reilly, but is it one the True Detective alum wants to pursue?
“She really puts herself through the ringer when she’s shooting [Dutton Ranch],” admits the source. “She relies on her time off to recharge her batteries and reconnect with her true self.”
Nevertheless, “she knows there is going to be a trade-off and she knows she’s going to have to move quickly and be decisive about what she says yes to,” the source adds. “People are beating down her door to work with her, and she doesn’t want this hot streak to end!”
