Lorenzo Lamas Is ‘Going to Do Whatever It Takes’ to Make Heather Locklear ‘His Sixth Wife’

Heather Locklear and Lorenzo Lamas‘ romance has been moving fast and a source exclusively tells Closer he could be heading down the aisle as soon as he finalizes his divorce from his fifth wife.

“Heather’s trying not to get ahead of herself because she’s superstitious and doesn’t want to jinx anything, but there’s no denying that Lorenzo wants to fast-track this,” the source says. “He’s told all his friends that he’s going to do whatever it takes to make her his sixth wife.”

The source explains that Lamas, 68, “believes in marriage” despite his five previous marriages, and he’s hoping to make things official with Locklear, 64, as soon as he’s legally able to do so.

“He’s still a total romantic at heart,” the source shares. “His friends are convinced one of the big reasons he wanted to get this divorce wrapped up was so he’d be officially free to ask Heather to marry him once everything’s signed off in November.”

According to the source, Lamas is even expected to make the proposal a memorable one.

“Lorenzo loves a grand gesture, and he loves the holidays so everyone is betting on him getting down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree with a big diamond for Heather,” the source adds. “They’re absolutely crazy about each other so it’s hard to imagine she wouldn’t say yes.”

As Closer previously reported, a judge signed off on the Falcon Crest alum’s request to fast-track his divorce from Kenna Nicole Scott on June 30, and their marriage will dissolve later this year on November 16.

He and Locklear first sparked romance rumors earlier this year and a separate source told Closer that Lamas was “incredibly charming” and had managed to sweep the former Melrose Place star off her feet.
