‘General Hospital’s’ Chase Leaves Fans Fuming After His Latest Encounter With Willow

General Hospital’s Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) thought she finally had her marriage back on track until she learned that her husband’s ex-wife was moving back into the gatehouse. Chase (Josh Swickard) proved that his wife had a reason to worry because he couldn’t wait to offer Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) unpacking services while shirtless.

Chase Is Back in the Doghouse

Chase has been infuriating GH fans for months as Willow essentially says “jump” and Chase says “how high?” while his wife watches from the sidelines. Brook Lynn told Chase how she feels about the attention that he gives Willow, so the forever-naive Chase promised to focus on his wife and his newly adopted daughter, Phoebe.

But now that Michael (Rory Gibson) has forced Willow to move back to the Quartermaine gatehouse so he can keep an eye on his wayward ex around his kids, Chase was at her service, helping Willow unpack after his run. He even thought that Willow was selfless to move back for her kids’ sakes, as Willow didn’t bother mentioning Michael had blackmailed her into moving, using evidence that she shot Drew.

Watching Chase compliment Willow and fawn all over her left fans exasperated once again.

“I can’t take Chase’s hero worshiping of Saint Willow. I want this suffering to end,” one fan lamented.

Other fans are tired of Chase falling for Willow’s constant fake victim act. “Willow making herself out to be the victim and that dumb mannequin Chase loping it all up. He’s disgusting,” one X user wrote.

Another fan thinks Brook Lynn should just look for another husband, saying, “Chase is such a pathetic sap! He belongs with Willow. Brooklyn deserves better.”

Others acknowledge that Chase is certainly acting foolish around Willow, but they are enjoying it, with one audience member tweeting, “Idk why but I love watching Chase falling into Willow’s trap. Her innocent act talking about her kids thanking him for saving the day. He is stupid. Brooklyn should keep comments to herself. Great new storyline.”

Willow has only been living back at the gatehouse for a few hours, so Chase has plenty more chances to make a fool of himself for his ex in the near future, something that will keep GH fans talking.
