Say it ain’t so! Marie Osmond appeared on Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen on Tuesday, Jan. 8, and gave fans a rather sad update about her longtime career. The music icon sadly revealed she and her brother Donny Osmond are thinking about retiring this year.

When asked by a fan when the siblings plan on kissing their Las Vegas residency goodbye, she replied, “You know, we say it’s every year and then we do another year.” The two have been on the stage there for the past 11 years. That said, she has a feeling the end is near. “We’re just thinking maybe this year, but I don’t know, Donny is getting old,” she joked.

While Marie, 59, did note that performing in Vegas is “really fun,” she further reiterated that 2019 could be her and Donny’s last year in there after Andy reminded her that Donny, 61, said just that in a previous interview. “Donny has said that many years,” she confessed. “Honestly we are thinking this year. We were supposed to be there for six weeks.”

Hopefully a Vegas exit doesn’t mean the end of the road for Marie and Donny. In fact, Marie recently told Closer Weekly that on top of her Vegas gig, she’s also been “offered movies and Broadway shows.” She admitted, however, that her work with Nutrisystem still gets her the most excited.

“People ask me why and it’s because I could never have done anything I’ve done in the past 10 years if I didn’t have the help I received from Nutrisystem,” she exclusively said. “They helped me get 50 pounds off of my body! I could never wear the shoes or clothes I wear, or do the dancing and singing [without the weight loss].” Marie added, “I sing everything from country to opera in the Vegas show. You can’t do those kinds of things with the weight on you,” she explained.

As for Donny, he revealed on Jan. 7 that he’s working on his 62nd album that we’re going to “love.” He wrote, “I’m excited to let you in on a little secret. I’ve officially started working on my 62nd album! I’ll keep you posted throughout the year as I continue creating it, but I have a feeling you’re going to love it.”

We can’t wait to see what’s next for Marie and Donny! That is if it isn’t a retirement…
