Nicole Kidman Shares Rare Photo of Her Daughters in Father’s Day Tribute to Keith Urban

How cute! To celebrate Father's Day, Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman shared two rare throwback photos on Instagram: one of herself with her late father, Dr. Antony Kidman, and another of her husband, Keith Urban, with their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. "Happy Father's Day, Papa and Keith Lionel. Thank you for being the most wonderful, kind, and loving fathers. The girls and I know how fortunate we are," Nicole captioned the two photos, posted together in an Instagram gallery, on Sunday, June 17.

Nicole's dad — who worked as a psychologist — passed away in 2014 from a heart attack and following his death, Nicole struggled with grief. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show soon after his death, she said, "Everybody loses their parents and it's awful. I'm sorry to bring everything down, but I'm at the same time trying to navigate through something right now. And I'm amazed when people reach out, because it's an awkward thing at times, but to have people go, 'I'm so sorry for your loss'… the power of that, and even a note or anything, which I've gotten so much love from people. When you realize that someone has gone through a similar thing or is going through a similar thing, it really connects you."

In her second photo, Nicole paid tribute to her husband Keith (was anyone else surprised by his middle name, Lionel?) with a rare glimpse into life in the Kidman-Urban household. The snap showed daughters Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 8, playing with their dad, and with their long curls and flowy dresses, we had to do a double take — they're mini Nicoles! Nicole also has two older children — daughter Isabella Cruise, 25, and son Connor Cruise, 22 — whom she previously adopted with her first husband, Tom Cruise.

In a 2012 interview, Keith candidly opened up about how wife Nicole comes before the kids. "We're very, very tight as a family unit and the children are our life, but I know the order of my love," he said at the time. "It's my wife and then my daughters. I just think it's really important for the kids. There are too many parents who start to lose the plot a little and start to give all their love to the kids, and then the partner starts to go without. And then everybody loses. As a kid, all I needed to know was that my parents were solid. Kids shouldn't feel like they are being favoured. It's a dangerous place."

Keith has also praised his wife for her parenting skills. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the country artist once confessed, "[She's] an incredible mom. Loving, maternal, and [she's] teaching me a lot about how to raise children, especially girls."
