Reba McEntire was brought to tears on The Voice after witnessing an emotional performance by contestant Jeremy Beloate.

During the Monday, November 25, episode of the show, Jeremy sang a stunning rendition of Josh Groban’s “The Impossible Dream (The Quest)” in honor of his late brothers.

Jeremy, a member of Team Snoop Dogg, told playoff advisor Simone Biles about why he wanted to perform the powerful ballad.

“This is just a monumental moment for me to be able to stand here and sing this song,” he told Simone, adding, “I can’t go home yet because I’m representing us all.”

Snoop gave him some words of encouragement. “Music heals. It’s the thing that brings everybody together,” the rapper said.

The performance was stunning, leaving many with tears running down their faces, including Reba, 69, and Snoop, 53.

“That is one of my favorite performances so far,” Michael Bublé told Jeremy.

“It’s so beautiful. You’re such an amazing singer,” Gwen Stefani added.

When it was time for Reba to give her critique, she was still very emotional over the performance.

“I haven’t been that touched listening to anybody sing until you,” the “Fancy” singer said with tears welling in her eyes. “You have got a voice that penetrated my heart. It really got me. I could see you on Broadway. I’m going to come see you when you’re there. You’re so good.”

Snoop had nothing but praise for his team member.

“I’m over here shedding tears of joy. You made me feel like I was sitting at a real Broadway play. I’m crying and I don’t care because, my seat next to me, she’s crying. So, I guess that’s OK to cry,” he told Jeremy.

“[There’s] something about the way you make me feel. Jeremy, you are blessed in disguise. I’m so thankful to have you on my team, and I’m thankful to be able to hear you sing,” he said.

It’s no surprise that Jeremy will be moving on to the semifinals. Snoop later said that the singer is “strong enough to win The Voice.”

The Grammy nominee ended up choosing Christina Eagle as the second artist on his team to go to the semifinals.

“Christina is great for live shows because she is a fiery female that can sing good old-fashioned country music,” he said. “Christina Eagle had one chair turn. She had one wing when I met her and she got a second wing. And now as you can see, the eagle has landed.”

Earlier in the season, both Reba and Snoop cried after watching Kendall Eugene perform in the blind auditions round. He sang a moving rendition of Morgan Wallen‘s “Don’t Thank Jesus” but none of the coaches ended up turning their chairs. Reba certainly had some regrets.

“Your style is totally different than anything we’ve heard today. I liked everything about it,” she said, leading Kendall to respond, “You should’ve turned.”

“I was going to say that exact same words,” Reba said.

“Which leads me to why I didn’t turn, I’m like, I can’t beat her when it comes to him. It was a beautiful song,” Snoop explained.

“I don’t understand why I did not turn around,” Reba replied. “We’ve got this new thing this year, that is a Coach Replay button. I’m going to use mine.”

After hitting the Coach Replay button, Reba landed Kendall on her team, causing her and Snoop to break down in tears of joy.

“I love that song that Kendall was singing. And after the song was over, I felt kind of numb. I knew in my heart I wanted him on my team,” the Happy’s Place actress said. “I’m so glad, for the very first time we have a Coach Replay button. It’s the second chance for the coaches when we realized we missed this moment.”
