Sailor Brinkley Cook Reveals She Calls Billy Joel “Uncle Billy” (EXCLUSIVE)

How sweet! In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Sailor Brinkley Cook opened up about her adorable relationship with Billy Joel — the singer who was married to her mother, Christie Brinkley, from 1985-1994.

"I actually haven't met the babies, but I call him 'Uncle Billy.' I love him," the 19-year-old gushed. Billy has also previously been married to Elizabeth Weber from 1973-1982 and Katie Lee from 2004-2010. In 2015, he married his current wife, Alexis Roderick — who is the mother of his daughters, two-year-old Della Rose and three-month-old Remy Anne. He is also the father of Sailor's half-sister, Alexa Ray Joel — who announced her engagement to Ryan Gleason just last month.

Christie had two husbands before Billy. First, François Allaux from 1973–1981 then Richard Taubman — the biological father of her 22-year-old son, Jack Paris
— from 1994–1995. She moved on from her marriage with Billy with Sailor's father, Peter Cook — though they called it quits in 2008. However, Peter adopted her son, Jack, when he was four years old.

Closer Weekly spoke with Sailor at the Spring 2018 Sherri Hill NYFW Runway Show, which took place in NYC's Gotham Hall last week. "I was so nervous. I hope I didn't walk too fast," she confessed after the show. "That's my only concern, and I hope I looked okay — but I felt like a princess and it's such an honor. I'm so happy." However, she admitted she wasn't always sure she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps. "It just sort of happened. At age 16, people started asking me and I took the opportunity and met some incredible people so I'm very grateful."
