Ever since she revealed to the world that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), Selma Blair has been extremely open about all she’s had to deal with — and the actress was truthful once again when explaining the pain she’s feeling.

“Here’s a truth. I feel sick as all hell. I am vomiting and all the things which are not polite to speak of,” the 46-year-old said in an Instagram post shared on Friday, May 3. “My son ran away. From me. I have to get him to school. The medical treatments take their toll. I am going to get through this. We do. This will pass. And to moms and dads who watch their kids sick on things we take to get better … I hold you.”

“So glad this is me and not my child,” she added. “I cannot imagine ever feeling ok again. #roughday. We get through. #realitycheck.” Take a look at the entire post below.

Plenty of fans reached out to Selma in the comments section and offered their support. “Stay strong love! I feel your pain and I hope you get better soon!” one user said. “You got this. You are so much stronger than you can ever imagine and your son will be inspired by your strength even if he can’t see it now one day he will!” another person added.

The Cruel Intentions star once discussed how some everyday tasks have become difficult for her due to her disease. “I am trying to remember to breathe. I can’t believe people do this easily,” the star wrote in the caption of her Instagram post on April 8. “I hold my breath accidentally for oodles of time. That is problematic.”

This revelation came after the Legally Blonde costar shared that her friend and actress Jaime King sent her a beautiful bouquet of flowers. “This is a huge act of love to do for someone who is housebound, people. Major. Heartbreakingly touching,” she said. “I hide in them and breathe.”

It’s incredibly tough to hear how much Selma is suffering, but we know she is strong enough to get through this. We wish her nothing but the best!
