HGTV’s Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall Coparent Their 2 Kids: Meet Taylor and Brayden

Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall shot to fame on HGTV’s Flip or Flop in 2013. Though the pair were officially divorced in 2018, they continued to coparent their two children, Taylor and Brayden. 

Over the seasons, viewers got to see Taylor and Brayden spend time with their parents and become involved in some of their home renovation projects. The HGTV design duo became parents for the first time in September 2010 when they welcomed their daughter, Taylor. Brayden was born in August 2015.

The popular pair announced their split in 2016 and the divorce was finalized two years later. The Christina on the Coast host married Ant Anstead in December 2018. The pair welcomed their first child together, son Hudson, in September 2019. They announced their split in 2020. In September 2021, Christina announced that she was engaged to Josh Hall. In April 2022, Christina and Josh secretly got married, Closer Weekly confirmed at the time. However, Josh filed for divorce in July 2024.

Tarek found love again with his second wife, Heather Rae Young. The Flipping 101 host and the Selling Sunset star began dating in July 2019. They tied the knot in October 2021. Come July 2022, Tarek and Heather announced that they were expecting baby No. 1. Their son, Tristan, was born in January 2023.

Both Taylor and Brayden were an important part of their dad’s wedding to Heather. Taylor got to walk her father down the aisle, a moment that made him burst out in tears.

“I walked my mom down the aisle. I was fine. And then the song ‘Shallow’ comes on, which is one of me and Heather’s songs, and I’m going to get Taylor to walk down the aisle, and I just broke down,” the proud dad told People after the big day. “Taylor, she’s my everything, I just got so emotional.”

The California native loves sharing glimpses into his life at home with the kids on social media. On Valentine’s Day in 2021, he shared the sweetest tribute to his daughter.

“Words can’t express just how much I love this girl,” the caption read. “Even writing this and thinking about her puts a huge smile on my face. She’s always been my best friend, especially during my most difficult days. She’s my biggest cheerleader and I work hard every day to make her proud.”

The youngster also has a special bond with her stepmom. During an episode of the miniseries Tarek’s Flip Side, she raved about her relationship with the real estate agent.

“When I first met Heather, I felt this bond with her,” Taylor gushed. “She’s so nice, she does all this kind stuff. She’s the best. I love hanging out with her.”

Just days before news broke about Christina’s divorce from Josh, she opened up about watching Taylor grow up.

“She’s just grown up so much from 12 to 13, and I just love spending time with her,” the TV personality told People. “I love our conversations. We’re closer than ever … I just love being her mom.”

Christina shared an update on whether or not her daughter was still interested in pursuing interior design.

“I feel like she was more into that prior to being a teenager,” she confessed. “Now, she’s just more into friends and summer, so they want to go to the beach and do their thing,” she continues. “And I understand and I respect that, but I’m sure when she’s older, if she is interested in buying real estate, that that’s something that she would definitely hop back into.”

Tarek is always posting photos of Brayden cuddled up with the family dog, Bugsy. He enjoys hanging out by the pool, going for walks on the beach with his dad and spending time with his younger half-brothers. In an October 2021 interview with Us Weekly, the HGTV star revealed that one of his favorite activities to do with his kids is take them out for date nights.

“Taylor loves this, like, fancy steakhouse restaurant,” he said. “So we go there, we get dressed up. She wears a dress. I wear a suit. I get her flowers. She gets an expensive filet. … Bray, we’ll go down to Boomers, we’ll drive the little cars, we’ll play video games. We have a ton of fun.”

In August 2021, Christina posted a cute tribute to her son for his 6th birthday. She shared in the caption that Brayden is “so feisty and full of life.”

“I hope he always stays authentic, camera shy and always smiling!! I love being his mama! Raising my kids to be hard workers who respect everyone and are kind is my biggest life goal,” she continued. “I love you sweet boy.”
