‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Fans Reveal Why Electra Forrester Leaves Them Shaking Their Heads
B&B fans are frustrated with Electra Forrester, calling her childish and exhausting as her drama with Will, RJ, and Eric continues to divide viewers.
The Bold and the Beautiful fans can’t stop talking about Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), a character seemingly conceived as the pure and perfect young heroine every soap needs, but is anything but. While the soap has thrust her into a front-burner star-crossed lovers plot, complete with an outside agitator, the character and her storyline often leave fans exasperated.
The Problem With Electra
Electra didn’t endear herself to B&B fans when her jealousy over her homeless friend living in the room above her boyfriend’s garage led her to break things off with him. After Dylan (Sydney Bullock) got a job and got her own place, Electra took Will (Crew Morrow) back and even moved in with him. Then, Will never told her that the new Logan fashion house was debuting a jewelry line, with the famous Hope for the Future Diamond, so Electra tore into Will for not telling her company secrets.
The Forresters forced Electra to choose her jewelry design career or Will, so Electra chose her career, leaving Will heartbroken. She now has RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) and her Uncle Eric (John McCook) defending her honor, which led to another fist fight between RJ and Will, with 80-year-old Eric caught in the crossfire. As Electra watched it all in horror, fans couldn’t help but sigh at the silliness of it all, especially the silliness of Electra.
“Eric catching a stray punch from Will. LMAO. And Electra giving him that ridiculously accusatory look. Will deserves better than this!” one fan said on X.
Another fan likened her to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Electra’s older cousin who also likes getting her own way, saying, “The truth is Electra is a spoiled brat, if things don’t go exactly the way she wants them to she throws a tantrum, just like Steffy.”
“Good lord. Electra is exhausting,” another viewer noted. “Why does Will want to waste his time with miss prissy princess who demands perfection from everyone?”
In general, fans just find Electra to be childish, with one fan summing things up like this: “Is Electra 5? She can’t stand up for herself or make her own decisions? She just lets RJ and Eric control her. And why is she blaming Will? You could see Eric was not his intended target AND RJ started that scuffle. Not sure what Will sees in her.”
With Eric sporting a black eye and Will looking guilty, it looks like Electra is ready to frustrate B&B fans some more.
