Oh no! Wendy Williams was scheduled to return back to her popular television show on Monday, January 21, but that has been pushed back yet again as the host deals with her health.

The 54-year-old’s family took to Twitter on Friday, January 18 to share an update with fans regarding not only the status of The Wendy Williams Show but also Wendy’s health as well. “As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment,” the message read. “Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians and, as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital. Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical wellbeing. Wendy thanks everyone in advance for their well-wishes and for respecting her and The Hunter Family’s privacy during this time.”

Debmar-Mercury, the company behind Wendy’s popular daytime talk show, also chimed in: “We wholeheartedly support Wendy in this decision to take the time she needs and we will welcome her back with open arms the moment she is ready.” The message concluded with an eye-opening bit of news: “The show will air repeats next week and then resume with a variety of hosts on January 28.” So it certainly sounds like the TV host may be out of commission for quite some time while she gets herself back to feeling 100 percent.

This isn’t the first time Wendy has had health issues. Back in 2017, she gave everyone a scare when she passed out in front of her live studio audience while on-air. After a commercial break, she told her fans, “That was not a stunt. I overheated in my costume … I did pass out. But you know what? I’m a champ and I’m back.”

We wish her nothing but the best!
