Love her or hate her, Roseanne Barr is still very much in the limelight. Question is, what is she actually doing with herself now that she’s been booted from ABC? As it turns out, a whole lot of reflecting on social media.

On Saturday, Aug. 25, Roseanne took to Twitter to check in with fans. “Got new Dr.’s and am doing better now. Thanks everyone!” she wrote on the platform alongside a selfie. It’s unclear if Roseanne was actually sick, or if she’s just referring to the messy situation following the Roseanne cancellation due to her racist tweet.

The 65-year-old previously took to Twitter on Wednesday, June 13 to assure fans that “she’s fine,” despite the extreme backlash she’s faced over the past few months. In a series of fairly manic messages, the mother-of-five unleashed what can only be described as “word vomit” on her fans.

“1) I want u all 2 know I’m fine. I’ve been using this time 2 reflect & 2 gain insight on what I said & how it was misunderstood..,” Roseanne began. “Needless 2 say I’m NOT what people have accused me of! I’ve never practiced ‘RACISM’ in my entire life & never will. Meantime…”

What followed her already jumbled introduction appeared to be a misguided attempt at reconciliation with not only her fans, but the African American community as a whole.

As if name-dropping Malcolm X wasn’t transparent enough, Roseanne continued by promoting Kanye West’s new album. “Listen to @kanyewest new album about mental illness, it’s the greatest thing ever,” she tweeted.

In the days following her initial diatribe, Roseanne has continued to keep fans updated on her whereabouts. In fact, on Thursday, June 14, the former TV star took to Twitter once more to share a play-by-play of her day.

“Today I am making picture frames with my beautiful precious mom, and listening to her and Johnny play music together. I’m in heaven!” she wrote. “‘I’m singing all day. I’m learning Amy Winehouse songs. Life is great. The hounds bark, but the caravan moves on. LAUGH ALL YOU CAN EVERYDAY! love u all,” Roseanne continued.

While it seems her career is very much over — for the time being — her social media presence is stronger than ever. She’s also done some interviews where she’s been candid about the incident. And on top of that, it’s been rumored that she’s starting up her very own talk show. Would you watch?
