Unlike her character on the former hit series Roseanne, who was married to TV spouse Dan Conner throughout the show’s 10 seasons, actress Roseanne Barr had her fair share of romances over the years. In fact, the sitcom alum was married three times to her ex-husbands, Bill Pentland, Tom Arnold and Ben Thomas.

Roseanne isn’t married at the moment, but it’s clear that she is not closed off to finding love. She was just 22 years old when she tied the knot for the very first time with Bill, a Roseanne executive consultant, in 1974. Together, the couple became the proud parents of their three kids, Jessica Petland, Jennifer Pentland and Jake Petland.

However, things didn’t work out for Roseanne and Bill. The pair went their separate ways after 16 years of marriage in 1990, and that same year, she linked up with legendary comedian Tom. The couple were married from 1990 to 1994. Despite their divorce, the two remained good friends throughout the years and Tom even presented on The Roast of Roseanne Barr back in 2012.

Roseanne’s last marriage was with Ben in 1995. Their relationship didn’t last either, though, as the two called it quits after seven years together in 2002, proving that the third time’s not always the charm. Fortunately, their union resulted in one son, Buck Thomas.

Nowadays, the former comedian is romantically involved with longtime boyfriend, Johnny Argent, whom she met when she hired him to write a blog for her. The two began dating just after Roseanne’s final divorce in 2003 and have been inseparable since. They even live together on the star’s 46-acre property in Hawaii.

Although it’s unclear whether Roseanne and Johnny have plans to get married in the future, there’s no doubt the two share an unbreakable bond. The film composer has been by his love’s side throughout the ups and downs, including in 2018 when Roseanne was canceled after the My Lives author made a racist statement on Twitter that was “repugnant and inconsistent with our values,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey announced in a statement at the time.

“Between the Twitter scandal and the show’s cancellation, Johnny is deeply concerned,” an insider told Star. “He’s doing everything he can to be a supportive shoulder to cry on.”
