Amal Clooney Steps Out in Red Jumpsuit to Attend Day 2 of Meghan Markle’s NYC Baby Shower — See Her Outfit!

Just when we thought Meghan Markle‘s baby shower couldn’t get any more fabulous, we were wrong! On Wednesday, February 20, Meghan’s good friend Amal Clooney showed up at The Mark Hotel in New York City to celebrate Meghan’s pregnancy a day after the two-day party first got underway.

For the event, Amal, 41, wore a pair of $815 Gianvito Rossi heels and a peacoat that kept her bright red jumpsuit dry from the snowy weather. Since Amal attended her famous friend’s lavish royal wedding in May 2018, she, of course, cleared her busy schedule to celebrate Meg with a baby shower in the Big Apple, too!

“Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests,” a source previously revealed to People, adding that George Clooney‘s wife helped Meghan get accustomed to living in Europe. “Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life. It was a very natural friendship from day one.”

Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry, is also very good friends with George, 57. In April 2018, Harry and Meghan jetted off to Italy to vacation with the Clooneys at their house in Lake Como. “George and Amal were so happy to host Meghan and Harry. Harry and George have a special bond and friendship,” an insider previously told Us Weekly. “They spent the entire weekend at their home and enjoyed the privacy and security the Clooneys had for them there.”
