Old habits die hard. Angelina Jolie famously married Jennifer Aniston‘s ex-husband Brad Pitt — and now it seems she has her eye on the Friends actress’ former flame Justin Theroux. “Angelina is interested in working with Justin Theroux, she actually put feelers out before he and Jennifer’s split,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Apparently, she’s a big fan of The Leftovers. When Justin and Jennifer were together, no one expected it to happen, but now that they’ve split the chances of him saying yes to Angelina are way up.”
Justin and Jen announced their split on Feb. 15 after two years of marriage. However, the couple reassured fans they were parting on good terms. “This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship,” the couple said in a joint statement.

“Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another,” they added. However, when it comes to Justin and Angelina potentially teaming up on a project, it’s an opportunity Justin might not be able to pass up. “Justin’s a very ambitious guy and his star is on the rise. Doing a project with Angelina could really take him to the next level,” the insider added.
“Of course it would really hurt Jennifer, so that may be a deterrent for him, but it’s certainly going to be tempting for him,” the source said. Meanwhile, In Touch previously reported that Jen is getting close again with Brad — and has been leaning on the Fight Club actor during her separation. “Jen made a tearful, late-night call to Brad one night recently and explained how Justin went off to the East Coast three months ago, and she felt he was never coming back,” a friend of Jen’s revealed. “She confided in him about all the missteps and problems in the relationship, and Brad provided the calming words that she needed to hear.”
