Bridget Moynahan Is Happily Married to Andrew Frankel! Meet the ‘Blue Bloods’ Star’s Husband

Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynahan found lasting love with her husband, Andrew Frankel. She has opened up about their marriage on rare occasions over the years.

Who Is Andrew Frankel?

Andrew is a businessman who comanages the firm Stuart Frankel & Co., according to his LinkedIn profile.

When Did Bridget Moynahan Marry Andrew Frankel?

In October 2015, Bridget and Andrew walked down the aisle at Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, New York. The wedding was a surprise to those in attendance, who had no idea that the ceremony was going to take place.

“She loved the understated elegance of the location combined with the festive fall feeling,” the wedding planners told People after the event. “At dinner, they used long rustic wood tables with a runner of eucalyptus and lemon leaves and a white floral garland.”

Bridget opened up about her husband in a rare comment in October 2021 ahead of their sixth wedding anniversary. The Sex and the City actress revealed what she learned about finding love in her 40s.

“What I learned was sometimes you have to fish in another pond, as the saying goes,” she explained to Glamour. “I had been dating people in the industry. I met a really solid, good human being with none of the pretension or all that other litter. He’s a really good person and a good partner.”

“I don’t think as a younger person I understood what that meant when it pertains to real-life situations,” she added. “I think that’s what some of my girlfriends who are dating now are missing. They’re looking for who’s cute … just a little bit more of a superficial thing. Luckily, I got everything in the same package, but sometimes the quality things are a little bit lower on the hit list for people and the more superficial are the first top five things they’re looking for.”

Bridget said that when she was younger, she was “maybe looking for something different.”

“You’re also never anywhere for any period of time,” she said. “I was always traveling, so you are always away from your partner.”

Does Bridget Moynahan Have Kids?

Bridget has one child. The former model welcomed son John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan with ex Tom Brady in 2007. She dated the former NFL star from 2004 to 2006. Tom began dating Gisele Bündchen in 2007 and later found out Bridget was pregnant.

“It was a challenging thing because here I am, you know, thinking, I’m dating this guy, we met, and we started dating and everything is great and then this happens,” Gisele said while speaking with CBS This Morning‘s Charlie Rose. “So, then I felt like I didn’t know what to do. It was kind of one of those moments of like, ‘Do I just run away?'”

After Jack’s birth, Gisele began embracing him as her own.

“But I’m so grateful for [Bridget],” the Victoria’s Secret Angel told People in September 2018. “I know this was hard, but I couldn’t imagine my life without [Jack]. I call him my bonus child.”

Over the years, Bridget has gushed about motherhood while working on her many Hollywood projects, including Blue Bloods.

“I think that one thing I love about being a mom is that it takes me outside of myself,” Bridget told Us Weekly in April 2019 of motherhood. “Coming from a business of being a model and then an actress, it’s a lot of being consumed with what you’re doing or how you look, what your next step is. When you’re a mom, you focus on what’s more important.”

Jack became a big brother to half-siblings Benjamin and Vivian, who were born to Tom and Gisele. Tom and Gisele finalized their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. It was revealed that Gisele was expecting her third child, her first with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, in October 2024.
