Carrie Underwood ‘Can’t Believe How Blessed She Is’ After Welcoming Baby No. 2 (Exclusive)

Now that she’s a mom-of-two, Carrie Underwood couldn’t be happier. “Carrie can’t believe how blessed she is. This is a great time for Carrie and [her husband, Mike Fisher], and they’re going to cherish every single moment,” a source close to the couple exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly after Carrie, 35, and Mike, 38, welcomed their second child, son Jacob Bryan Fisher, on Monday, January 21.

Following baby Jacob’s arrival, Carrie took to Instagram on Wednesday, January 23 to share the adorable first photos of her little bundle of joy and announce his birth to her many fans. “Carrie and Mike couldn’t have been more excited about introducing their son Jacob Bryan to the world. He’s the cutest thing ever and the family couldn’t be happier. He’s happy, healthy and already smiling,” the insider said.

Mr. and Mrs. Fisher previously tied the knot in July 2010 and welcomed their first child, son Isaiah Michael Fisher, 3, in 2015. And now that Isaiah is a big brother, the little guy is so excited to hang out with his new “partner in crime.”

“Big brother Isaiah is already itching to play with Jacob. Mike’s been explaining to Isaiah that he needs to wait a few months before they can roughhouse,” the source shared. “It’s no secret that Carrie wanted a girl, but two boys is also a dream come true. Isaiah calls Jacob his little partner in crime, it’s super adorable.”

Now that they’re officially a family-of-four, what’s next for Carrie and her precious brood? For starters, the country music star is now gearing up to go on her Cry Pretty 360 tour starting in May — and will bring both of her cuter than cute sons on the road with her! “She’s already planning on her boys traveling with her. Her team has already added a nursery to her tour bus,” the insider revealed. Congrats again on the arrival of baby Jacob, Carrie and Mike!
