Just yesterday, Wendy Williams revealed to the world that she has been living in a sober house. In the wake of that news, celebrities have taken to social media to share words of support for the TV host.

“I’ve got more to the story for you. The truth,” she began. “Well, for some time now — and even today and beyond — I have been living in a sober house,” the 54-year-old said during the March 19 episode of The Wendy Williams Show. “You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder. I want you to know more of the story. So, this is my autobiographical story and I’m living it. I’m telling you this.”

The TV personality explained that, after she wraps up every episode, she’s been going to “several meetings all around town in the tri-state area” for help with people who are having similar struggles. “They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. There’s no autographs, there is no nothing. This ride. Only Kevin [Hunter, her husband] and Kevin [Hunter Jr., her son] have known about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew. Because I look so glamorous out here.”

This news comes after Wendy returned after a three-month hiatus to deal with her health.
