Curtis Ashford’s Latest Outburst Leaves ‘General Hospital’ Fans Seeing Red
Curtis on ‘General Hospital’ fixates on blaming Isaiah Gannon for a car accident despite no proof, while ignoring other suspects, leaving GH fans frustrated with his behavior.
General Hospital’s Curtis (Donnell Turner) has a one-track mind. He is going to make Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) pay for leaving him and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) stranded after a car accident that they caused, despite having no actual proof that Isaiah was driving the car that Jordan nearly hit. Even when another suspect is presented right to him, he refuses to stop blaming Isaiah for something he made up in his head. And fans are not happy.
The Problem With Curtis
Back in April, Curtis and Jordan were on their way to dinner when Curtis leaned over for a kiss. Jordan took her eyes off the road and gave him one, but then noticed she had drifted into the other lane and swerved to avoid an oncoming car. The subsequent crash left Jordan scarred after the car blew up. Thanks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) coming along in the night, Jordan was out of the car by the time it exploded, but the flames did damage to her face.
Curtis is convinced that if the other driver had stopped to help, then Jordan wouldn’t be scarred. He is also convinced that his ex-wife’s new boyfriend was the driver because the police determined that the other car was a black German SUV, and Isaiah drives a black German SUV. So do Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), so Brook Lynn set things up to make it look as if Willow was the other driver. While neither Isaiah nor Willow is the driver Jordan nearly hit, Curtis stays fixated on Isaiah. He even assaulted Isaiah recently, injuring the surgeon’s hand, much to the ire of fans.
“If I didn’t think it would hurt Isaiah, I say pop Curtis across that bald head of his with the cast,” one fan wrote on X.
“Curtis is becoming ridiculous,” another viewer tweeted. “Frankly, he can’t stand that Portia is in love with a guy as charming as Isaiah.”
“Curtis can defend Willow but will insist that Isaiah is guilty. Curtis is such a nightmare!” yet another fan concurred.
Other fans are also baffled at Curtis going to bat for Willow, who is married to his former best friend and mortal enemy. As this GH fan put it, “Why is Curtis so sure Willow is innocent and Isaiah is guilty? He is so blatantly jealous and just wants it to be Isaiah. There’s no evidence it’s Isaiah for did this non crime.”
With Chase also constantly coming to Willow’s defense, fans have pretty much had enough of both of them, with one summing it up by saying, “Chase and Curtis are vying for the biggest jerks in Port Charles!”
