Robert Kelker-Kelly, the soap opera actor best known for playing Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives, has died. He was 62.
Kelker-Kelly died on Saturday, October 3, the medical examiner in Missouri confirmed to TMZ on Monday, October 5. His cause of death has not yet been determined.
Kelker-Kelly joined Days of Our Lives in 1992, taking over the iconic role of Bo Brady from Peter Reckell. He played Bo for three years, appearing opposite Kristian Alfonsoas Hope Brady and Lisa Rinna as Billie Reed.
Reckell returned to the role in 1995 and brought Kelker-Kelly’s run on the show to an end.
“Behind-the-scenes we hated each other,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum wrote, according to the Daily Mail.
“He made my life a living hell on the set of Days. He was horrible to me,” Rinna continued. “I’d go so far as to say verbally abusive. He was passive aggressive, manipulative, and played weird mind games.”
Rinna starred on Days of Our Lives from 1992 until September 1995, before she was replaced by Krista Allen. She later returned to the role several times over the years.
After his exit from Days, Kelker-Kelly played Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital from 2001 to 2003 and again from 2013 to 2014.
